How accessible are these examples of World Cinema by using GENRE and NARRATIVE conventions

 How do they use these conventions to justify them as National Cinema?

 Who are the distributors - are they independent or are they owned by mainstream parents companies and what links can you find to the types of US films they sell? Any overlap with the influences/references?
